Mirante do Caete Trail
The trail starts inside Prainha Municipal Natural Park and the place also has infrastructure for bathrooms, showers and a drinking fountain
A trail through Mata Atlântica with a beautiful view of the beaches of Recreio and Barra da Tijuca.
The park was created in response to the demand of surfers and bathers who frequent Prainha, with the aim of protecting the region that is home to a very diverse fauna and flora, including endangered species of animals, such as wild cats, possums, pacas, rodents, hummingbirds. , parrots, hawks, pit vipers and lizards.

Created in 2001, the park has an area of 147 hectares.
It is an area of environmental preservation of the Atlantic Forest that joins Prainha and Grumari, the place is of incomparable beauty in addition to being very well taken care of.
As it is an Environmental Protection Area, on weekends and long holidays, there is a control on the number of vehicles that access the road towards Prainha and the other wild beaches in the region.
