Midwest

With an area of 1,606,403,506 km², the Midwest is the second largest region in Brazil in terms of surface area, surpassed only by the North Region, being slightly larger than the area of the state of Amazonas or the Northeast Region.

Formed by three states: Goiás, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, plus the Federal District, where Brasília, the country's capital and the most populous city in the region, is located.

It is the least populated region and has the second lowest population density. For this reason, it has some urban concentrations and large demographic gaps.

Of the Brazilian regions, it is the only one that does not have a coastline.

Trails, waterfalls and sights will be added soon.
