Fort Sao Joaquim do Sueste

Forte de São Joaquim, also referred to as Fortim de São Joaquim or Reduto do Sueste, is located on the island of Fernando de Noronha, in the archipelago of the same name, in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil.

It has a beautiful view,  between the ruins of the old fort and is very close to the tip of Caracas, a visit that you can also make.

The fort is in a dominant position in the bay of Sueste, it was part of the defense of the southeast sector of the island.

It is a small, easily accessible trail that has two observation points that will leave the tourist enchanted.

The first stop has a beautiful view of Sueste beach and the Chapéu and Cabeluda Islands. From Ponto do Caracas, Morro do Leão Island and Morro da Viúva Island.

The path will be along a track with approximately 700m of route, which is considerably easy from the Information and Control Post (PIC) of Baía do Sueste. from there, tourists can enjoy a closer look at Morro do Chapéu and Ilha Cabeluda.

We recommend all means of protection against the sun's rays with a hat/cap, sunscreen, as well as drinks such as juice and water - which can be filled in the PIC. The region has few trees around.

The tour will be very interesting, it is worth adding to your itinerary.
