São Benedito Chapel
The Chapel of São Benedito in Porto de Galinhas, also known as Igrejinha dos Carneiros, was built in the mid-19th century. XVIII by the Viscount of Rio Formoso
Located inside the Sítio Igrejinha dos Carneiros, the charming Chapel of São Benedito is one of the symbol attractions of Praia dos Carneiros. The secular Chapel of São Benedito remains in full activity, performing weddings and baptisms.
The church by the sea is a unique setting on Carneiros beach. The little chapel is a beautiful symbol of this place in Pernambuco.
The family, which owns the land, usually rents the church for wedding ceremonies.
