Barreiros Beach
Praia dos Barreiros in Ilha Bela was once called, on old maps, Praia do Barro or Praia do Barreiro, which referred to the muddy bottom of its sea, when the tide goes down, many meters of its waters occur causing it to retreat .
Praia do Barreiros has a flat strip of sand surrounded by coconut trees, it is very quiet and frequented mainly by several vacationers who have houses or stay close to it.
A pillar on the shore (used to transport fish and ice that were produced at the former Barreiro Farm) is the last record of a pier where rails of a small wagon ran in the 1960s.
