Veloso beach

Praia do Veloso is a very quiet beach, it has calm and clean waters and is very frequented by divers, it is the last beach that can be reached by car from the south of Ilhabela.

​

It is about 15 meters wide and 200 meters long with yellowish monazite sand.

 

The beach is approximately 300 meters after Praia do Curral, the beach is surrounded by shrubby vegetation and fruit trees and has a coastline of stones, it is in Praia do Veloso that the ships Tritão and Dorth, sunk in 1884, are found.

Praia do Veloso has  a short strip of sand, approximately 200 meters long and with gradient colors. In the left corner, there is a large playground, great for families with children.

 

On the other side there is a wall of rocks from which you have a beautiful view of the beach.

Beautiful and totally welcoming, the beach has a charm that will make you want to stay for hours.
